10 ways to help you de-stress that are within your control .....

There are many ways to destress, and what works best for one person may not work as well for another. Here are ten ideas that you may find helpful:

  1. Exercise: Physical activity is a great way to release endorphins and reduce stress. Even just a short walk can be helpful.

  2. Practice deep breathing: Deep breathing can help calm the mind and reduce stress. Try inhaling deeply through the nose, holding the breath for a few seconds, and exhaling slowly through the mouth.

  4. Spend time in nature: Being outside in nature can be very calming and help reduce stress. Try going for a walk in a park or spending time in a garden.
